Electronic spectra with paramagnon fractionalization in the single-band Hubbard model

We examine the spectral properties of a recently proposed theory intermediate temperature pseudogap metal phase cuprates. show that this can be obtained from familiar paramagnon nearly antiferromagnetic metals by fractionalizing into two `hidden' layers S=1/2 spins. The first hidden layer spins hybridizes with electrons as in Kondo lattice heavy Fermi liquid, while second forms spin liquid fractionalized spinon excitations. compute imaginary part electronic self energy induced and momentum dependence photoemission spectrum across Brillouin zone provides good match to observations He et al. Bi2201 (Science 331, 1579 (2011)) Chen Bi2212 366, 1099 (2019)).
